Just got it back from being powder coated!

First off, thanks for the compliments:thumbsup Well, I bought the valve cover on here for about $30. The place I took it to for powder coating quoted me $35. Well when I went to pick it up they tried charging me $62 :nono So I told them that the guy told me $35 and they said that it was a double coat, which cost more, but they still gave it to me for $35 since that is what was quoted. Because of that, they have a returning customer! :thumbsup I hope that you guys have the same luck as I have had:)

i agree with everyone, that cover looks freakin good! i woulda expected it to be more expensive to have it coated. oh well, looks damn good...congrats.

Yeah man, they did a real good job on yours. It kinda looks like mine. Although, I had to shave the lettering myself.

Thanks guys! I actually did shave it myself. Masked off around the letters and then just sanded the hell out of them.

Yep, that is exactly what we mean. I started sanding with rough sand paper and then I just kept going finer until it is almost like a polish. It really turns out great that way!

damn that thing is sexy! i'd go get mine powder coated right now if it wasn't for the fact that everything else in my engine bay looks like shit and i could really spend the money on other stuff (like a new engine). i'm wondering though... is there a way to make it say something other than 'DOHC'?

<---too lazy and broke to powder coat his. high temp engine enamel is all i get for now;( looks good jersey:thumbsup headlight should be off car tomorrow (monday) or tuesday. and i'll ship it first thing once it's off.
