What is that material under some people's hoods. I want to get rid of my ugly heat crap under my hood. Where did you guys get that stuff? And how much was it?

LAST EDITED ON 20-Apr-01 AT 12:41 PM (PST)

I'm gonna order one myself.

They actually come from the turbo versions.
Order from Mitsu or Chrysler under the same parts #:

MB913318 (around $34-$55)

Just called and Mitsu wants about $50 and Chrysler wants $34.....and don't forget the clips! (MB 020923)

if you were talking about chrome in the recessed hood areas, just get the chrome vinyl from a vinyl or tint shop and cut it. its about $8 for 20" here. i yanked out my stock heat shield, no problems so far.
