I'm thinking of taking out the thin piece of the front bumper inside the grill area and making a wire mesh grill out of it since the paint is starting to crack on that piece. Anyone ever done it? What would I use to get that bad boy off? tia

Are you talking about the horizontal urethane piece with the 4 supports on it? i say go for it. Mine broke when i wrecked my car so it is barely hangin in. I was thinking about ripping it out a few weeks ago and putting a grill in. id like to see pics when you are done.

hey guy...i took that out of my car very simple... just take some wire cutters and cut it.. thats what i did,it no longer looks like a happy japanese on a roller coaster. it now looks like a mad japanese on a roller coaster about to puke..(no offense to any asians in here)

i never really wanted to take it out. but i do have mesh wire behind it. when you put a front mount on the car it is necessary to remove that stuff so it will fit, so im not looking forward to having to do that.
