I had the same problem.... I had to get a new steel hood ($190).... Try adjusting the four rubber pieces down a bit (they screw up or down..) the two larger ones near the edge and the two smaller ones towards the middle... I had to take off the latch and slot the holes so I could adjust that.... youd think that they would be slotted for some sort of adjustment.... It might not be the correct way to do it but it now latches... plus those rubber pieces will help to line up the hood with the fenders.... hope I could help...

ya, u can do that.. use the spot where the large rubber turny things are.... i have 2 writeups on it if u wanna see it, it posted in that how-to thread in the general section (among others)...

also, how was the fitment w/the 4 bolts by the windshield?? u ahve to move yoru fenders at all??

I used ur write ups, but the pins wont fit cause the area above the headlight where the big ruber block is dosent have enough clearnce to fit. I have black hood pins so you wont be able to see them that bad
