Ok, I got it all lined up and junk and the hood wont latch! I just keep pushing down and nothing happens! Argh, dose anyone have any help quick!

I had the same problem.... I had to get a new steel hood ($190).... Try adjusting the four rubber pieces down a bit (they screw up or down..) the two larger ones near the edge and the two smaller ones towards the middle... I had to take off the latch and slot the holes so I could adjust that.... youd think that they would be slotted for some sort of adjustment.... It might not be the correct way to do it but it now latches... plus those rubber pieces will help to line up the hood with the fenders.... hope I could help...

ya, on mines, i gotta push down reaaly good to get her to "clik" or latch then lock up da pins and im set...

took me for ever to get that shit lined up... mess w/the mountin brackets up by the windsheild and see if that can help u at all..

also, grab a flashlight, and get on yourass, and look up at the latch while your closing it to see how far your off....

umm, when i close it, or latch it, i am pushin right above the latch itself, the hood kinda bends in a lil, and clicks...

the first cuple times i was really sketchy since the hood aint really nething..

be patient by carbon fibor pimp, it will werk out

Well its on no, thanks guys, next is hood pins. Im hopeing to get them mounted over the headlights instead of in the middle

ya, u can do that.. use the spot where the large rubber turny things are.... i have 2 writeups on it if u wanna see it, it posted in that how-to thread in the general section (among others)...

also, how was the fitment w/the 4 bolts by the windshield?? u ahve to move yoru fenders at all??

I used ur write ups, but the pins wont fit cause the area above the headlight where the big ruber block is dosent have enough clearnce to fit. I have black hood pins so you wont be able to see them that bad
