#1644, "Does anyone know how to take this out without breaking the tabs?"
Hey guys, I am thinking about putting a small monitor in the area where the center vent is. First, has anyone done this? Second - how do I redirect the flow of air so that the outside ones pick up the slack and push more air to compensate, 3rd - how do I get that piece out without breaking anything?? Screwdriver??? Nah - please advise. Thanks.

Yeah, just use a screw driver to pop out the entire unit. It can be done, you just have to be careful. Try wrapping the end of the screw driver with a rag to protect the dash.

to redirect the airflow to the side vents al you have to do is block off the front center vents. just close the vents with the switch on the side of them. http://www.geocities.com/blue2gnt blue2gnt@hotmail.com AOL IM - ThreeRedDiamonds
