1644, Does anyone know how to take this out without breaking the tabs? Posted by Kahn, Feb-24-01 05:54 AM Hey guys, I am thinking about putting a small monitor in the area where the center vent is. First, has anyone done this? Second - how do I redirect the flow of air so that the outside ones pick up the slack and push more air to compensate, 3rd - how do I get that piece out without breaking anything?? Screwdriver??? 1645, RE: Does anyone know how to take this out without breaking the tabs? Posted by John99RS, Feb-24-01 11:24 AM Yeah, just use a screw driver to pop out the entire unit. It can be done, you just have to be careful. Try wrapping the end of the screw driver with a rag to protect the dash. | |
