Hey guys, I just got my z3 fenders in and want to install them before my body kit gets here. How long can a fiberglass part withstand the weather without it being primered or paint? thanks

You can run them as long as you want. Fiberglass comes covered in a stuff called gelcoat, you will have sand that before you paint anyway. So go ahead and ride with them for awhile. Joe 97 GS w/ Hahn stage 2 Keep cruisin' & keep the shiny side up. http://joeseclipse.homestead.com

WHY THE HELL HAVE NONE OF THESE COMPANIES REALEASED WIDE-BODY Z3 FENDERS?!? think about this for a second, youve already bought fiberglass fenders and had them installed, hwo hard would it have been for aerogear to make the fenders wider than stock? it wouldnt be any harder! they could start at the factory front and rear mounting points and gradually smooth into a wider center area with no extra effort or work required. they wouldnt be as wide as the actual widebody kits but it couldnt hurt to try http://www.geocities.com/blue2gnt

Kaminari makes wide fiberglass front fenders, but they are not Z3 style. I have a pic of them on a eclipse if you want me to send it to you just tell me. Looks pretty cool.

yeah i know about the kaminari and the QuWhees, the problem is you cant use just the fenders, they are designed to line up with the widebody front bumper and side skirts. so you could mount the fenders but they would stick out from the car - not good they do look tight though cause they have the dodge viper design vent in the sides of them where the fender meets the door and they are $325 each last time i checked - also not good http://www.geocities.com/blue2gnt
