1452, Fiberglass parts install Posted by mikee97gs, Feb-16-01 11:54 AM Hey guys, I just got my z3 fenders in and want to install them before my body kit gets here. How long can a fiberglass part withstand the weather without it being primered or paint? thanks

Fiberglass comes covered in a stuff called gelcoat, you will have sand that before you paint anyway. So go ahead and ride with them for awhile. Posted by cyan, Feb-17-01 02:50 PM yeah i know about the kaminari and the QuWhees, the problem is you cant use just the fenders, they are designed to line up with the widebody front bumper and side skirts. so you could mount the fenders but they would stick out from the car - not good they do look tight though cause they have the dodge viper design vent in the sides of them where the fender meets the door and they are $325 each last time i checked - also not good http://www.geocities.com/blue2gnt
