#7535, "New Problem - Need to figure out before I drop in new motor"
It just started this weekend. When I'm driving down the road all of a sudden a very violent vibration starts going throughout the entire car...I guess not violent, but very very noticable in the steering wheel, panels, floor board, and clutch pedal. If I keep driving the car it will go away, come back, go away, etc. There is no set time it will come or go, but I can't figure out why it is doing this...any ideas??

I don't know if it loses power or not because I have never been hard on the accellerator when it is happening. And no, I don't have balance shafts anymore, but that would be a constant vibration if that were the case.

-Does it go away when you do something (depress the clutch)? -Have you let it idle and looked under the hood (watch motor mounts, ect)? -Where does it feel like it's orginating from on the car?

That's a new one, well at least you figured it out relatively easy, and it is not a hard fix.
