hey guys..after i installed my mbc today.. i have my boost set around 14 psi..... i noticed that my boost just starts dropping as soon as i get to around 5k rpms... is this normal? i've never had a turbo before so i don't know these things... and if its not normal..what could cause it..



sorry for the long posts.. theres just a lot of things i dont understand..

If you have 2G with the stock turbo, that is normal.
You're gonna have to deal with it till you get a bigger turbo.

haha mine JUST started doing that----i'm not sure why it didnt' before...maybe b/c its warmer outside ......or maybe i'm just a dumbass.

Its probably a little bit of "A" and a lotta bit of "B"

Don't forget the "search" button, though!

There is a very easy, cheap solution to this common problem.

Spend about $100 for a 14b turbo off a 1st gen and swap it in.

I have a 14b and a 1g bov for sale. Turbo needs a rebuild though, but the BOV is brand new.

sell me the 1g necessities i need, for the love of all thats holy my 14b has been sitting in my room for 4 months. noone local has the oil feed, return, j-pipe and lower i/c piping. HELP

Dammit I have most of that stuff and never got back to you. I will find out exactly what I have an don't have and let you know, I swear. I got so freaking busy and forgot.

My apologies.

I know I have at least the lower IC piping, oil feed, and other goodies.
