yes Russia is inlcuded.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071016/ap_on_go_pr_wh/us_dalai_lama

according to China's description and views of the Dali Lama, he seems to be their Osama Bin Laden. I would seriously cut all commercial ties with China just because I know they and Russia are waiting to slit our throats when we sleep.

Honestly... communism is closer to home than Russia.

You should start by cutting all ties with California.

Well, the epicenter of socialism is in San Francisco. If you don't work and don't have any money, you probably live in a nicer apartment then if you have a college education and work 50 hours a week. Make sense? Nope.

Of course, this whole country is financially f'd up thanks to Greenspan, the Fed, and the elite. I'm not worried about China's military, I'm concerned about them holding a trillion-plus US dollars.

the system needs you

- All cars sold in USA now have to conform to CA CARB smog laws. That equals roughly 5% less horsepower, and a $500-1000 increase in sticker price.

- CA fuel is mandatory oxygenated, which adds roughly $.30 to each gallon of gas. AZ, NV, and several other states have already begun "Californicating" their gas.

- SF implemented the first complete handgun ban, totally opposing the 2nd amendment (which has been ruled inapplicable in CA due to CA's constitution and court system).

- CA just passed laws banning lead ammuntion, and requiring microstamping all spent casings with a serial number traceable back to the last law abiding owner.

- CA has laws on the books stating no peace officer may inquire of the citizenship status or legality of an immigrant.

- CA Highway Patrol officers are the visiting fascists that beat up this old lady during hurricane katrina - http://youtube.com/watch?v=-taU9d26wT4

- CA law enforcement may enter your home without a warrant and arrest you if they suspect you of DUI. This includes sitting in your driveway working on your parked car and drinking.

- Communist healthcare - http://www.onecarenow.org/sb840.htm
"creates one plan and one public trust fund which pays all health care bills and collects all the monies already being spent on health care and insurance plans"

- The terms "Mom" "Dad" "Husband" and "Wife" have been banned in California schools.

- Homecoming kings now can be either male or female – as can homecoming queens, and students, whether male or female, must be allowed to use the restroom and locker room corresponding to the sex with which they choose to identify.

- California has banned smoking in all public places, and some CA cities have started banning smoking anywhere, including your own home.

- California has legalized marijuana with a doctors prescription, against federal law. There were recently DEA raids of the CA "pharmacies".

- California has the largest welfare system in the US, and the highest state sales tax rate to support it, 7.25%. Los Angeles County is even higher, at 8.25%.

Finally, look at any bill proposed, or any vote made by the following esteemed representatives of California in the US legislature:

Sen. Dianne Feinstein - Supports wiretapping, immigration, involved in military scandal: awarded her husband's company US military contracts for personal profit.

Sen. Sheila Kuehl - first openly gay senator, communist healthcare.

Sen. Barbara Boxer - too many to list.

My point is not that California is a terrible place to live.

My point is that the policies, ideologies, corruption, and influence of California is taking place right now in Washington DC and will affect all states.

When CA makes a law requiring special gas, or special smog equipment, or special gun parts, whatever, companies have two choices:
Make a new version compliant with CA laws (and sell it to everyone else because having a CA and a Federal version is too inefficient) or:
Stop selling to CA due to the restrictions (and lose a large percentage of their income)

This is the approach CA politicians follow. Divide and Conquer. Make it so everyone else has to follow our "lead".

Just do me a favor, and don't follow.

Canada... with socialized medicine, low median wages, and huge taxes on cars, postage, everything? No thanks.

I love the United States. I just think Texas is doing a better job at it than California is.

Besides, you can't start a DSM commune when you don't own a DSM. emoji

I'm thinking about moving to Mexico now. I figure it's just like California, but cheaper and cleaner.
