See if there's new firmware. Usually, if burners stop recognizing discs, I just get a new burner. For $30 why pull your hair out? Just out of curiousity, what programs are you using to encode DVD's? I'm having trouble with alot of the new releases. I usually had good luck with DVDShrink or a combination of ANYDVD and DVDDecryptor but every once in awhile, the give me trouble and won't let me make an .iso.

I installed all 3 firmwares on all 3 burners.
Nothing.
Still says in WMP or Nero "Please insert a blank cd-r disc".
I'm so frustrated now. There's nothing wrong with the drives! It's the stupid discs. It's like I need to buy old discs or something now, or update my burners? That's bullshit.
