lmfao take a closer look at the bottom right corner of the video at 00:30-00:40. the guy gets stuck inbetween a car and bike, acts like its totally normal lol.

The honking is to let other drivers know where you are, kinda like driving sonar. There's no way to see all the incoming cars/bikes/rickshaws/donkeys so people honk as a courtesy to other drivers. Everyone drives with the windows down so they can hear better and gesture, etc. It's weird for us because we honk to say "fuck you" but over there its just a fact of driving.
We had a game we'd play with taxi drivers... if they got close enough we'd tap the other drivers on the shoulder, shout Marhaba! and they'd jump and then bust up laughing.
