Im thinking of installing a Tokico strut/spring combo which drops about 1.5". Will I have a problem with my 235-45-17 tires and this drop? I dont want to worry about them rubbing. thanks

You'll hear both sides of the fence on this one . . . some will say you will rub, others say they don't have problems.

Good luck, that's a phat ass tire!

Here was my setup:

Tokico Illumina spring/strut combo
17x8, 235/45-17, 40mm offset

You will have to roll the rear fenders and there is no way around it. After i got the fenders rolled, i didn't have any problems.

There was a how-to on here a few years back. Had to do with using a heat gun to warm the paint and a baseball bat between the tire and fender to roll it up. This is a big pain in the butt and hard not to start cracking the paint. Give all the local shops in your area a call and ask if they roll rear fenders or know someone who can. There is an actual tool that bolts up to the lug nuts. It has an arm with a roller on it that rolls the fender lip up.
