#22651, "Clicking noise from rear?"

When I back up I hear a sort of clicking noise from the right rear wheel. Now when I drive anywhere from a roll to about 25mph I can hear the clicking noise.

Ideas?? Is it the wheel bearing?

About 96,000+ Are you talking the top of the strut tower? IF so all nuts are there....

If I am at a stop, say parked or if I am goign to back up to park from a stop, as soon as I start to roll back ward I get a sort of click/clunk like:

click click click

Then nothing...

When I drive normally, from a stop to about 40mph I can hear an audible clicking that gets faster as the car goes faster...and slows down as I slow the car down...

hmmmm.....pretty hard for me to diagnose man but it sounds to me like something maybe with your tire? or brake? or i dunno but you said it increases when you accelerate and decreses when you decelerate....so it has to be something with your wheel or axle or something, my best idea would be to find out which side its comin from, lift it up, take off that wheel, get a grease gun and go to town on the balljoints/tie rod ends, lateral upper and lower joint, etc. could just be that after you installed your coilovers the steering and/or suspension compenents dried up (and they need lube lovin)
