Any consequences with doing this on our cars? I am thinking about have the bolts torched so i can do my suspension and just keep it off till i get new links or a bar all together. DO you think this is a good idea or is it essential to leave this on our cars?

I would just leave it on.. they would not put somthing on there that does nothing. right

Well it was getting in the way and i was eventually going to replace it. I am pretty sure it is useful but i was wondering if there would be any problems if i temporarily removed it. I switched out my suspension anyway so this is now obsolete.

i would leave it on. thats why the rs has a front but not rear sway bar. take it off and drive around the block, you'll see what i mean.

I left it on. I had to undo the upper control arm to get the strut out of the brace.

Good you have regretted removing it. The sway bar controls body roll. Also helps reduce wheel hop when you ake off. It is a very itegral part of teh suspension.
