17709, Front sway bar removal........ Posted by BigBald, May-13-03 04:09 PM Any consequences with doing this on our cars? I am thinking about have the bolts torched so i can do my suspension and just keep it off till i get new links or a bar all together. DO you think this is a good idea or is it essential to leave this on our cars? | |

I am pretty sure it is useful but i was wondering if there would be any problems if i temporarily removed it. I switched out my suspension anyway so this is now obsolete. | |

17832, RE: Front sway bar removal........ Posted by Michael_97RS, May-20-03 05:53 AM Good you have regretted removing it. The sway bar controls body roll. Also helps reduce wheel hop when you ake off. It is a very itegral part of teh suspension. | |
