buy a g-tech pro and find a parking lot for max g's. The only way to measure like the magazines do is to find a skidpad somewhere.

Lexan is doable, and it does lighten up the glass alot, but you're gonna have 2 problems. 1) the heaviest piece of glass is probably our rear window, and with lexan you'll lose your rear defrost and, if you're lucky enough to find a fit, it'd be a pain in the ass to install. The second heaviest glass besides the windshield are the side windows. If you lexan these, though, you're not gonna be able to roll them down in the summer, and they'll be cold in the winter if you have a hole cut out. If you really wanna shave all that weight take out the rear seat and spare, and dont' top off your car at the pump. Its ghetto, but its infinitely cheaper and easy to undo when you're sick of it.

I purchased lexan windows for the truck im working on.....That stuff scratches very easily, just as a warning, and i dont think its worth the money in weight reduction.
