#5413, "Stock ECU controls what?"

Okay so im getting my MS3X fully installed and removing the stock ecu completely. And im trying to find out all the extra Acc. the stock ecu controls and how i would make those Acc. function once i remove the stock ecu.
MS will be controlling Fans and Idle but what else does the ecu control?
I heard it also controls the power windows(is this correct)?
and how would i connect the tach and speedo in the dash to for MS to control?
Also is the VSS controlled through the stock ecu? or does it go directly to the dash?

thanks everyone in advance for any and all help!

On my phone, so excuse brevity.

Windows are not. Where did you even hear that?
VSS is a sensor that needs power as with the rest of the sensors if you remove factory ECU. Refer to service manual electrical manual for the rest, and also search as these topics have been covered previously.

Like Dave said, the stock PCM does not control power windows.

As for the tachometer, you need to connect the wire from the tacho output pin on the MS3X to the wire that originally carried the tachometer signal (it's a white wire).

For the speedometer, simply make sure the VSS has a connection to power (+5V or +12V) and ground. Though the signal does go to the stock PCM, it also goes directly to the dash.

Thank you guys, i searched it all and got a lot of information but started getting a little confused on the vss and tach part of the wiring. But This is the information i was looking for. Im just trying to make sure I have everything figured out on making the new harness. Thanks again for the help.
