Just passing this along.. since I just found out.

You need to open the box and remove a diode. See post:

yeah that came up in another post somewhere, it makes a HUGE difference, mainly noticable at idle. My vac. went from 48-50 to 32-35 kPa just by doin that diode clip.

not running IAC here, still through stock ECM. And I never had a tach issue with the RS-auto box, i just tapped the CrankPS for signal, and the MS gets clean reading and stock dash tach still works fine.
