MS2 Extra Alpha code is out for neon/420A..if someone has a MS2 setup ready to go, test it out(with caution!)...

I'm seriously considering it. I have a spare kit sitting around... I've been waiting to decided whether I'd use MS1 or MS2 so I could adjust the hardware accordingly. I'd like to see someone with a similar setup have successful results though... I really can't afford to lose this engine right now.

I would test it, but i dont have a MS2 setup yet for my eclipse...i'm busy testing the 4g63 CAS setup now for MS2 Extra..For those that want to test, be warned there is a learning curve when switching from MS1 Extra, to MS2 Extra. Megatune's menus are much different, and there isnt much documentation at the moment, so you may have to figure things out for yourself..As far as harware goes, the input mods and output spark mods are the same, no changes needed. Follow the MS2 install docs normally. The only wiring mods when switching is suppling the MS2 card with +12 volts for the idle control stepper chip(weather using the stepper idle control or not). Take note that when you do this, you CANNOT just switch back to your MS1 processor again unless you remove the 12 volt supply, or you will burn up the MS1 processor!!!..This is noted in the MS2 install docs..

Ya know... I never thought of that. I always assumed there were necessary input/output modifications. I just might give it a go in this case.
