what hole in the intake manifold??

are you talking about the one in the back of the manifold right behind the TB opening

thats where the egr pipe comes in

I used a 1/2 inch rubber plug...it is a tight fit but it works well.Here is my pics in case you are rubber plug challenged emoji I got them at Sears Hardware but Home depot sells them also...I unloaded some last night.

I tapped it for a 1/8" NPT plug.
