thats right people, the stage 4 kit for the srt-4 is coming out from mopar. 400 some odd hp, 430+ lb/ft of torque...

stock internals

hey dino, remember that bet we made? lol

just to let any of you potential swappers know, the stock pistons and rods are STOUT. the rings are the weak spots, and this is coming straight from the mouth of a chrysler technician.

i tore apart an srt motor yesterday, pistons look fine. As for the rods, they are the shittiest excuse for forged rods i have ever seen. They are powder forged, which is the lowest level possible. and as for dodge saying they are so great, the owner of the cars uncle works at the plant they make srt's, he calls them toothpicks.

chris is 100% correct....

jake was saying he's seen more srt-4's at the shop (chrysler) for rebuilds because of bent rods then he wants to count.

MY DEALER WILL WARRENTY IT IF ITS DONE BY US..... the kit however runs about 8500$ not including install..... add about 16hrs to that at 75$ and hour..... and youll get ur warrenty lol
catch is that u have to have all your maintance done at the same dealer... including oilchanges , coolant flushes ect.
