#82984, "S-AFC II Install Question"

Hi, I'm currently trying to install an s-afc 2 and i was wondering a few things. during my install i had problems locating the rpm signal and the ground. sounds stupid,i know. the install guide says for the rpm it's a white wire on the lower connector, i find white w/ green, blue, and red stripes; also a white w/ brown hash marks about an inch apart, but no straight white wire(could it be this one?).
also on the ground the install guide says its the upper connector with a black wire, i found a black wire near the power wire with 2 hashes close together on it, slightly oversized(i think), is this one it?. if anyone can help me please let me know. i drive a 1997 Eclipse GS non-turbo so the install guide should work.

Thanks, Cyrus

I think i remember when i installed mine that there were hashes on the wires that needed to be used too. so i just ignored them. but im not positive and i cant go check cuz im on vacation right now, so maybe someone else can confirm.

It's the hashed one. Only non-striped wire in the harness.

yes every wire you tap is on the upper harness with the exception for the tach wire.
