My the needle on my EGT gauge just recently started jiggling around. It worked perfectly fine before .. but now it's acting stupid. Anyone have this happen before and figure it out? I checked the wiring, everything seems to be well connected. I pulled the probe yesterday too and that seems to be fine. Hmmmm

Let me guess. Autometer gauge right.

Also do a search for egt gauge crazy (with the and not or logic) for similar stories.

1998 GS with hrc stage 2, HID 6000k conversion kit, AEM UEGO wideband, sfmu, ml, prokits, Greddy warning gauges: egt, boost gauge, and oil pressure, apexi tt, haydans tranny cooler, costum dp, groundwires, dynotune fp gauge. gst muff, turbo spoiler
Boostin since Aug 03.

I had the same problem with my autometer EGT. Everytime mine would read incorrectly I just kicked the roll of wiring(since they provide so much extra) under the dash and it would go back to the proper reading. Not sure what exactly the problem was, but kicking it always did the trick. Sorry I'm not much help, but I figured I'd post my experience.
