did some serching but no luck...well my friend just had his motor rebult and is running an hrc stage 2 kit..he had some problems after the motor rebuild but most of them are fixed now.he still in the procces of breaking the motor in but the only major problem he has now is that the car hesitate around 2000 to 3000 rpm and only around those rpm range.he has replaced spark plugs, coil, and spark plug wire and it still hesitate at those rpm rang. he did get a cell...he got it checked out at autozone and it was for o2 sensor...could a bad o2 cause this problem?

hehe.

How is he still in the process of breaking his engine in?

Did he "break it in" PROPERLY or is we just driving around...?

lol.

I mean did he run the motor at 2000rpms for 30 mins and then 3000rpms for 30/let cool and ACTUALLY seat the rings?

LOL! I only let mine sit run for 29 min and 57 seconds...shit!!!

Na, just playing. There are many different ways of breaking in a motor…that’s just your way. That has nothing to do with hesitation

The o2 sensor could cause that kind of problem. If you've already gotten the CEL on it - I'd just replace it.

Besides the fact that's not how "I" would break in a built motor......

yea check the o2. The rear doesn't do much and tends to be a little lazy as it is. If the front is shot then you'll run like shit
