guys the shop working on my car is have alot of problem finding a electrical ignition issue that is plaguing my car. The car will run, just half ass when it does. Map sensor, Cam sensor, Crank sensor, ASD relay,(Coolant temp is really more fuel related, but ) You may want to look at the IAC also as it seems to be an idle problem. This should give you a good start...

yea but wouldn't u notice that it being off time right away it would idle fairly high... they actually have it electronically recorded dropping a cylinder. i got them a new ignition capacitor today and still no word... im having bad luck with this. my car will sound like, bumbabumbubavrooooooooooooooomrooooooooahhhhhhhhhhhhh, kishhhhhh www.dsmregistry.com/detail.php?carid=643 VW= The joy of driving DSM= The frustration of fixing

When i did my t-belt the first time, my idle was actually low and lumpy, not high. I was 1 tooth off...
Depends on which cam was off in which direction. Exhaust cams tend to throw your idle all wacky because it takes the fuel injector timing off kilter with regards to the intake valves opening due to the cam angle sensor being on the end of it.

well what EXACT procedure would you use dino to time an engine that had the head milled 35 thousands.
