I am so use to the 4g63 turbo motor and i bought a 98 eclipse RS and it idels @ like 1300k , was wondering if these things have an idel set screw on them any where, if you could let me know, thanks

No but it should not be idleing that high...have you checked your idle sensor? That was a problem for me once....

COuld also be a vacuum leak. The idle speed is saet by the ECU and 100% computer controlled.

idle sensor, and on the front of the intake manifold there are 2 bolts to adjust the idle. its in the mods section on here or something

There is a screw that adjusts how far open the throttle plate sits at idle (almost an idle set screw). You have to grab it with pliers to adjust it (turn it in or out). The idle is maintained by the idle air control motor. It allows a certain amount of air to bypass the throttle plate. That motor is pictured below:

this is what i did and it will mess with your throttle position. it did mess my idle to though. try and move it. see what it does

if you look where the throttle bracket rests on the tb, you will see a screw that it rests on. on the back of that screw there is a metal plate (cap). drill a small hole in the plate, take some needlenose pliers to that hole and pry the metal cap out. your idle can now be adjusted with a torx driver. i had this done when i got my tb bored. all 2gnts have it, its just covered up.

Thanks i will try that
and Oh i have a 420a motor , redline is same as them all i just get there quicker
