MY CLUTCH IS FINALLY TAKING A CRAP ON ME!!1!!!11. Stock oem clutch is finally starting to slip like a mofo, all my hesitation problems lead me to believe that this was my problem all along. Normal driving with granny like acceleration leads to no slippage, while driving uphill or accelerating normally leads to slippage. After hours of driving the clutch starts to heat up tremendously causing it not to slip, hence no hesitation. Am i right in my thinking here? Would you reccommend the pt cruiser clutch? 175 isnt bad for a new clutch plus tob, fluid, etc. What do you think?

I'd say that compared to a lot of the cars on here you are still considered stock (and I should speak too, I the super-stocker). I'm pretty sure that the stock clutch will hold that power with no problem, I'm very sure of that.
Mine went out around 60-70k, and was then again replaced at 154k when the trans needed rebuilding (to save on labor costs)... that one was still good.

from what ive read the only difference in the stock clutch and pt clutch is its clamping force. Im not looking to upgrade to any staged clutch, just something a little better than stock i guess. I dont consider my car stock by any means at all, i have a decent amount of bolt ons, besides the snail.

LOL! I made it 142k. Probably could've gone longer, but why risk it, ya know? The engine was coming out, so why not replace the clutch too. I say get the PTC. I like mine. Still very stock feeling, but I know it's a little heavier duty imo.
And you're gaining on my in miles... Just rolled 160,900 this AM in gridlock.
