78104, 150,876 miles later...... Posted by EclipsedChef, Jul-26-04 05:24 PM MY CLUTCH IS FINALLY TAKING A CRAP ON ME!!1!!!11. Stock oem clutch is finally starting to slip like a mofo, all my hesitation problems lead me to believe that this was my problem all along. Normal driving with granny like acceleration leads to no slippage, while driving uphill or accelerating normally leads to slippage. After hours of driving the clutch starts to heat up tremendously causing it not to slip, hence no hesitation. Am i right in my thinking here? Would you reccommend the pt cruiser clutch? 175 isnt bad for a new clutch plus tob, fluid, etc. What do you think? | |

I'm pretty sure that the stock clutch will hold that power with no problem, I'm very sure of that. | |

Im not looking to upgrade to any staged clutch, just something a little better than stock i guess. I dont consider my car stock by any means at all, i have a decent amount of bolt ons, besides the snail. | |

The engine was coming out, so why not replace the clutch too. :P I say get the PTC. I like mine. Still very stock feeling, but I know it's a little heavier duty imo. | |
