I am trying to decide which crane cams to get, the following supporting mods will be posted below but i am trying to decide between Crane 0012 or 0016. I know 0012 is for nitrous but would a more agressive 0016 still be daily drivable & give me a more agressive grind.
Supporting mods: Cold Air Intake, 2.25” Header-Back Exhaust, 4-1 Header, AF/X Under-drive Pulley, 55mm TB, P&P Intake Manifold, AEM Cam Gears, Apex’I AFC-II, Zex Wet Kit w/Purge Valve & Bottle Warmer, Race Ported Head, Walbro Fuel Pump (190lph), Dyno Tuned of course lol....Currently no ecu is mad for my car =(, but i am looking into the t3 (does anyone know anything about it?)

Yea the other day i had some time & started reading it, then my girl came over & i read somemore lol j/k. But from what i know crane 0016 n nitrous would produce a well sized flame out hte back of my exhaust lol. I could not find anything about street drivability (will get new retainers & valve springs if ordering 16's).
What about hte t3? has anyone ever used it before?

i think i heard the cranes' are just modified neon cams. and the crowers are modeled off of an original 420a cam i think. i'd get the crower 2's, there is a thread here with the sound of the exhaust. sweet imo.
Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related. Step 1: Put down everything in your hands. Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it. Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you. If not. Go here: here
If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

Yeah I sent a set in to Crower and they were the basis of the cams.
I love the Crower 2's, but with a crower 2 or crane 16 expect to have a lope at idle. You'll be good with nitrous on Crower 2's or 16s. Your best bet for a good idle on them is to use some type of map modifying device like the S-AFC or something more complex.

not to steel this thread or anything but, when you say rough at idle, what does that mean? shakes alot? shuts off alot? i want to get the 16s so i hope they aren't too bad.

yup..it matters on newer cars as well...i have the crane 12's...they do pretty well in terms of power...and have a good idle...but that can change depending on my cam gear settings...i can make them lope like a cammed up v8 hehe..makes hondas look at you like "WTF"

It will lope at idle. It will not stall, it will shake a little bit.
