Thats it, I am PISSED THE FUCK OFF!!! My car is fucked up. I can't figure out why. It runs but it sounds REALLY weird, like the cam timing is off or something. Plus the power isn't there like it was. This is something I just noticed tonight. I ran a compression test to see if that could tell me anything. 1-185, 2-180, 3-185, 4-190. That's not the problem. I have oil on the back side of the block, lot of it. My engine including Head Gasket and Timing belt is only 20,000 miles old. I want to just drive it off a cliff but we have none in Florida! I don't even know what to start ripping apart to figure this shit out!

Sorry to hear it Kyle. try to track down the oil leak... unfortunately it might be the head gasket. You have a manual oil pressure gauge right? See if that is leaking. I would check timing, maybe your tensioner is bad and you slipped a few teeth on the cam gear... never know. Good luck.

I am starting to lean towards slipped gears, I drove it again and it seems worse. It sounded like it back fired but in the intake. Thats a bad thing, It's really late, 1:42am , I am just standing outside staring at the car chain smoking. . . :'( :'( :'( . . .

I am going to see what I can figure out with the timing right now with a flashlight. . .I am so depressed right now, this really sucks. . . I am afraid that I may have already had the pistons and valves get close, maybe even tap a few times. FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought mine w/ 58k and found that the basterds sold it to my with a faulty head gasket and i had oil pissin out the bottom everynight. If that is the problem its going to run you a quick 600 bucks. Don't know if you guys know this but there was a recall on our ball joints? got mine replaced a few months ago

How have you seen the way I drive, where are you at? I do drive a little fast, I guess. I look at the speed limit and my rev limit as a challenge! }> I am starting to work on the car right now. I am looking to see how the timing is. I used a strobe light and the gears are in time with each other so I think it may have slipped somewhere else and the cams are both out of time with the crank. I'll post once I find out about the timing.

Sorry to hear about this. But it does sound like to have a valve timing problem.

You don't have it listed, but do you have adjustable cam gears? If so, can you tell if they went foobar on you? I really hope that's not the case.

If you do rip into it, I would suggest removing the cylinder head and checking the intake side of it. Sounds like you popped it if there's oil on the back side of the motor.

I don't have cam gears yet, LoudEclipse is selling me his though. I was planning on having the AFX and the cams installed in like 2 months. I haven't bought the afx yet and I don't hav the gears yet and this shit goes nuts now! I'll post up what I find out. Anyone else done the Timing belt with the engine in the car? What problems areas am I going to run in to?
