if you are nonturbo, you can use the NGK bkr5e-11s. they are one heat range hotter. to simplify things, just go to advance and tell them you need plugs for a 1998 2.4l galant. =)i use castrol syntec 10w30 and sometimes 20w50.

That is 0.050. I do not think your car would run with 1/2" of spark plug gap if you could manage to bend it that far.
