I'm going to do a tuneup and was wondering what brand oil and spark plugs/wires you guys are using on N/T's.

I've always used Mobil 1 synthetic oil, and regular NGK spark plugs..

if you are nonturbo, you can use the NGK bkr5e-11s. they are one heat range hotter. to simplify things, just go to advance and tell them you need plugs for a 1998 2.4l galant. =)i use castrol syntec 10w30 and sometimes 20w50.

I second the NGK BKR5E-11's (set to a plug gap of .50) and since my car was never run on synthetic, I go with Castrol 10W-30 year round.

I use royal purple, they sell it at my local napa store. I use the plugs stated above too, it made my exhaust sound smoother.

10w30 Mobil-whatever-costs-about-a-dollar and whatever plugs the register monkey gives me. The car is stock and modless so it doesn't matter to me.

That is 0.050. I do not think your car would run with 1/2" of spark plug gap if you could manage to bend it that far. ;-)

Yup, damn typos. I did mean 0.050. Doh! You'd need one sick ignition system to throw spark over a half inch distance. Time for some coffee :)
