Well I finally got some free time and did a nice little tune-up. Changed my oil and oil filter, used a can of C.C.C., ran a compression test(210,210,205,200), fuel injector cleaner/octane booster, and installed new ngk plugs - one range hotter. She is running a LOT better now...except for she is now misfiring at low rpms. At first I thought it was the octane booster but I refilled and it still does it. I have tried gapping them at .065 and .055 and it isn't helping. Why would getting hotter plugs, cause a newfound misfire problem? Anyone? emoji

i'm using the MSD coilpack (stock replacement) and magnecor wires along with 5E's and i have no problem. had a major problem, but that was my factory coilpack taking a huge dump on me.

It's probably your gap. .065 and .055 is too big. The largest I would say is 0.050 but like Dino said, try 0.045 and see if that works. I run mine around 0.030" with a ported/milled head. Idle and low end was bad at larger gaps.
