I got the pistons from someone on Neons.org who had em, and decided to do something else...ergo the price (i know thats way low including shipping lol)
Ok now why no total seals....wheat?? there are diferent total seals for turbo apps...why would they be a bad thing in your opinion? (you think blow by is nescesary?? honestly havent used total seals on a boosted app myself, just on V8 rebuilds...woked good btw)
BTW how the heck you get FREE machining turbo 8??? And yes its a good idea to Ceramicoat the pistons (i need to do the crown in my case)
Oh now i need to get oil pump/tensioner/water pump..anyone got the Price Fenton Dodge for these (might get em localy on the auto repair shop price discount if the diff aint too much) the setup i wanted was Pt Oil pump housing cause with that one it dosent get in the way...
One thing that well...i asked there if he knew localy anyone who mollycoated...he said that it was better to DIY (huh! self mollycoat..)...cause results are Negligible (yet i want a mollycoated Crank just in case you know...for preventive measure...every bit to fight spun bearings)

i recently became acquainted with the owner of a machine shop here in san clemente, i babysat his two daughters for a shortblock assembly lol, he's mellow though and has been doing machining FOR-EV-ER...and besides, i bring him lots of business

moly coat crank i think a better idea would be the oil scattering stuff, im getting that on my crankscraper and oil pan and was thinking about the crank as well. the best defense against spun bearings is keeping oil in the pan, proper clearances and dank ass oil...im also thinking of getting the oil pump hand ported some at the shop to squeeze some extra oil pressure out of it

total seals help keep the compression up, and on v8's...thats exactly what you want/need to make the most power out of what you have
