#71883, "Fun at the dyno today"

Well, my wife gave me 2 free hours on the Xotic Motorsports dyno for Christmas and I've been dying to get there since my rebuild. Just wanted to get a baseline before I finally get around to installing the turbo. It was fun. I've never been on the dyno before. I ended up making 7 pulls - trying to get the a/f as nice as possible. My best pull was almost 147 peak hp. Here's a shot of the first and last runs.

Nice numbers Jim! I'm gussing you leaned it out a bit on your second run, where you dropped a few ftlbs of torque..but gained a few HP..trade off I guess..Now get that turbo running and feel some real power emoji

Nice numbers Jim, but isn't a 13:1 a/f ratio a wee bit lean for pump gas? Maybe it's ok since you're N/A; I've never dyno'd an N/A car before (or paid attention to their a/f ratio's).

LOL I know and I used to love honda screamers, what most people don't know is that Honda is the MASTER when it comes to turbocharging, so much so that they were booted, and decided against it for their street cars

but as the saying goes, there is no replacement for displacement

B18c1(or 5) are nice but they can't compete with the cylidner head of the 420a cammed and a computer, buwaahahahahaha

Lean her out above 5k and you should get even more out of her. You look pretty rich up top.

Very nice numbers. I may have to get mine back on a dyno after the exhaust is done and the car is out of puss-mode.

I can't witto see that thing on boost!
