if your cars stick i'd get a b&m short throw and the symboski shift kit. install about 45 mins and they work awesome. you could also look at the afx udp which is also a nice lil bolt on.

What do cams do? How do they improve your engine? Also, are the shift mods a self-install thing or do you gotta get them done professionally because I've been thinking about getting them for my car?

Your cylinder head is where the HP lies, the block(or the most part) is where the engines reliability lies. Camshaft tuning is an art itself and with some new cams you can free up your engine's efficiency by taking in more air. Of Course HP is made by burning more fuel(efficiently) so I'd also say pick up an AFC, and like Mike said open up your exhaust and intake.

As long as you have the supporting mods, you should free up the intake and exhaust before you slap on cams.

megan & pacesetter make 4-2-1... ebay has some ceramic coated 4-2-1 headers... pacesetters fit like shit and need to be grinded down.

but if i was you, ide just get a 4-1... most reviews ive read said the 4-2-1 gives a small difference mid range, and no difference up top. and the 4-1 gives a nice kick in the ass up top.

im about to buy a OBX 4-1... decent gains from what ive been told, pretty cheap, and good quality.
