I went to DSM.org, found my area at the bottom of the page (I live in the Midwest), went to that site and looked up all the members in my area that own a GST. Then I emailed each one and asked if they had replaced their stock muffler and if so would they like to sell the stock one. Had about 10 people that wanted to sell me one. Bought the cat back piping and muffler for $50 and the dude even delivered it to my house.

did you try the junkyard? I got mine for $40 from one and I've seen junkyards sell them for as little as $20.

The piping for all Eclipses is the same from the factory. The GS-T muffler will bolt right up, and the GSX muffle can be cut and welded on. Same piping though.

Yes, the pipe diameter for all DSMs is the same from the factory. There's no advantage in using a GST cat-back, it's the same piping. The muffler is less restrictive than our stocker, so makes a good upgrade for us. Make sense?

No Mitsumnan, the piping on th RS, GS, & GS-T is all 2" and routed the same. I believe the resonator is differenton the turbo model, and I think RS GS piping/resonator with GS-T exhaust is a better combo than, full GS_T cat-back.

BUt at some point after winter I sould be getting my custom 2.5" exhaust done and I'll have a GS-T muffler for sale, a Muffler with a proud 2GNT heritage. First Jason and now me. emoji
