I'm working on transferring the car to a 3spd drag tranny at the moment. I haven't installed the 8 injector setup, and have been running 6psi on it up until now (I have all the parts, just haven't had the time to do it).
A good example of what kind of power this thing is making though..
Carlisle compact jam, my car was setup with 2.2 stroker 4spd automatic slushbox chrome 18" enkei shurikens (50lbs per rim/tire) full system in the trunk, amps, lotta weight stage 2 turbo w/fmic 6psi on stock injectors with the 12:1 cartech
I was racing pikapp504, who had.. completely built 2.0 5spd manual 17" aluminum rims small box with 2 10's, that's it as far as extra weight on his 11psi with a vortech and upgraded injectors
We were completely door to door the entire way down the road. As far as the factors determining it, he had absolutely everything in his favor, 2 seconds faster stock, less weight, less parasitic loss, yet my car, running less boost, with more weight, was still all over him like white on rice
I think he's on this board somewhere too so he can verify it. The 2.2 makes some very very nice power, and it comes on ungodly fast. I imagine the long rod putting you right in between the 2.2 and the regular 2.0 as far as power is concerned.
Feel free to hit me up on aim, my s/n is glacius331, though for the next day or 2 I'll be in the garage as I finish up this 3spd swap
