#63167, "S-AFC INSTALLED, CEL CODE 14, whats wrong?"

OK I just put in my s-afc and I get thrown codes 12, 14, and 55 on the CEL. 14 is MAP sensor voltage too high. What could be wrong? The wiring or the tuning? I have all corrections set to +-0%.

definately not "advanced tuning". this probably belongs in "peformance/engine".

check your "in/out" settings. when i still had my AFC, i used 5 in and 5 out. other people have had success with 6 in and 6 our or 7 in and 7 out.

another common thing is how you installed the ground for the AFC. if i remember correctly, there are 2 different grounds, one for the MAP refrence and one to run the AFC itself. if you just ground both to the frame somewhere, you will get a "MAP RAN" (MAP range) code. i had this "problem", it didn't affect the operation of the AFC or the ECU, but it did give me that annoying CEL that i eventually became used to.
