That's funny. If you never let anything really slide just that much too far, you'll always have a dependable car. After about 3 months of the CV joint popping or (sigh) 3 years of constantly warped rotors, you just don't get as upset as you used to. You just start to think to yourself "If this (insert part/system) goes on me, will I still be able to drive it? And if not, can I find the part used or cheap somewhere through the board?"

wow I guess 2gnts really do have a different range of problems. I have no problems with CV joints, or warping rotors (I drive em hard too even with the stock rotors). but now I have oil leaks, bad catalytic converters, leaky valve seals, tweaked suspension (my fault), etc...
