it says for 1995 only. will it work for 95 through 99? i don't imaging them being any differen. anyone bought a thermostat for something other than a 99?

What temp is our stock one? I though that our ecu sees 180 as full operating temp and will continue to run in open loop mode until it sees 180.

yea, same thermostat i believe. i have a 96 talon and it fit right in. it works wonders, engine cools down so fast now. watter wetter and 160 degree thermostat, cheaper than a fluidyne or something and almost does the same thing.

yes you can use it. I have it on my 98. But it was 30 to my door for a damn neon stat that costs 5 bucks. I know he supports us be he just made a 300 percent profit off me. I dont knoe why everyone says that their temps drop but mine just did, a little tiny bit. That helped enough thoug.

Actualy yesterday I went to the local dealer to try to get ome and none the less they couldnt get one. But the tech guy ther said it might not be a good idea because of the 180 degree sensor deal. He said it would kill gas milleage and hurt the car over time. So now I am not quite so sure if I want one. Just my two cents, later

i had it on my car. really just drop the temp a little. it would keep it around 200 max. with the stock thermo its around 200-212 give or take.. on my car it did not help alot so i took it out after 1 month.

I never really saw that much benefit from it. It didn't make my operating temps any lower on the guage. It may have kept me from overheating more than I was though.

i wish i could show you what it did with a pocketlogger, thats the way you tell.

get redline watter wetter and a lower thermostat and you will see/feel a difference. im speaking from personal experience, its hot and humid in CA and this therm keeps my temps down.

just my .02, again :-P

My car definately runs better with it.

Stock ECU from what I understand will be fine and see the engine as warmed up anything over 150 degrees coolanmt temp.

160 degree, and water wetter is what i use, it seems like the more i get on it, it cools down, a definate good buy

Actually the guys at the dealer liked my car they thought it was cool. Turbo8u how did you adjust the fuel down? Did you use sfmu or safc? Do you lower the fuel press.? And if so wouldnt the lower fuel press. change the ammount of boost you can run?

Well I checked mine on my datalogger too and it was still getting up in the 220's and up. I think my problem is partly the radiator though. So once I get a new one we will see what's really going on. I think I'm just heat soaking the RAD on those hot days, that's why I was saying it was prolly keeping me from overheating more than I was.

Hmmm...drop in gas mileage huh. I gotta try that someday..cuz I've had mine for quite a awhile and it's like one day I noticed I don't get as good gas mileage, and I changed out the O2 with a Bosch one. I still overheat with it in, damn intercooler. I guess it would help in the summer but in the winter it wouldn't be advisable. It takes forever to get up to operating temps (half way up) on a cold day. I'll try that cuz I run already real rich using the 12:1 disk, stock injectors and boosting only bout 5lbs..I can smell the fuel sometimes.
