#59043, "how do i tap a hole?"

I was putting my header back on and one of the threads to the head got f**** up emoji The holes threads are no more. I put the header back on and no leaks that i can tell. I know this is not good so i was thinking of taping the hole to make new threads. Does any body know how to do this? Or should i take it to a shop to do it?
Thanks

You "may" be able to tap the hole, if there's enough aluminum left to cut with a tap. If you notyou will nood to drill out the hole, tap it a larger size and use a helicoil to get back to the proper size for your exhaust mani bolts.

M8x 1.25 I believe for the tap size.

thats the right size....I did that to my head too emoji but luckily the tap cleaned it out enough so i didnt have to drill it out and make it bigger. *whew*
