#58021, "crank angle sensor issues/ TOP END MISS"

Has anyone here experienced problems with their crank angle sensor while trying to race? I replaced my OEM sensor with an aftermarket AUTOZONE crank angle sensor. The car runs of course but at top end, 5500 and up, there is a horrible miss almost like rev limiter.

If you have had any problems with this let me know. The sensors can't be that much different i mean if they are both hall effect magenets right?

any ideas would be great.

CODE 11 with the key dance was received.

-Eric

When the crank angle is bad it can sound like a rev limiter. Try putting in a new sensor or a borrowed sensor and I'll bet your problem will disappear.

Or, you have a problem with the cam angle sensor. Same results.

OK, so has anyone here experienced flaws in aftermarket products? I mean the Crank angle sensor is only 5months old. I never really noticed the miss because my car has never been raced. I usually baby it and take my aggression out in a Turbo Integra.

Also, is there only one code for the Crank/Cam angle signal malfunction? I received code 11 from the keydance CEL method.

Let me know your ideas on these two questions.
