Yep, Mobil 1 10w-30 is pretty much the way to go. Silver bottle, green top. (though it depends on what time of year it is, and how cold it gets outside)
I use either FRAM oil filters or Purolator. No point in paying 10+ bucks for the mobil filter. -Jeff 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T'd http://gs.dsmpower.com

I've used both Mobile 1 and Royal Purple 5w-30 as well as there Racing 21 oil. and i must say the Racing 21 oil, altho exspensive is incredible, cooler temps, lasts longer. As far as filter, a synthetic filter of any kind is fine. Royal purple 5w-30 which i still find better then mobile 1 is about the same price as mobile 1. I've just found my car running better. and cleaner using Royal Purple. Its sometimes hard to find depending on your area. you can goto www.royalpurple.com and find out more info about it. the Racing21 oil claims HP and Torque gains with dyno charts. how tru it is, i dont know. but its there so who am i to say its false.
