(though it depends on what time of year it is, and how cold it gets outside) I use either FRAM oil filters or Purolator. Posted by Thunderous_Talon, Jul-30-01 05:32 AM I've used both Mobile 1 and Royal Purple 5w-30 as well as there Racing 21 oil. and i must say the Racing 21 oil, altho exspensive is incredible, cooler temps, lasts longer. As far as filter, a synthetic filter of any kind is fine. Royal purple 5w-30 which i still find better then mobile 1 is about the same price as mobile 1. I've just found my car running better. and cleaner using Royal Purple. Posted by craigd887, Jul-30-01 01:04 PM i use 10-40 i have a shitload of miles on my car, bought it with 94600 even. i use the haevier stuff for insurance and always purolator filters. NEVER FRAM!!!!!! no creative analogies for this one just never do them. orange is bad
