I changed my plugs today and gapped them all to .050. I checked the gap on the old ones that was in it when i bought it and they were .035, .075, .075, and .074. I dont know what the hell the old owner was thinking. Hmmmmm, oh well, it runs better now! wooo!

when i bought my car i was having some problems with it running right, then one day my CEL came on. so i took the car up to my local auto zone and had them run the diagnostic. it said that 1 of my plugs had misfired so i bought all new plugs and wires. not a single one of the old ones was under .075. the new ones are in and no CEL since (well except when my waterpump blew up on me)

thanks so much guys, my car had problems too, i got new plugs and it says that there were pre-gapped so i trusted it and ran them for about 2 weeks, then my car had problems start, i couldn't figure out what it was until i found this thread, then i double checked, and there were all about .040, and now they run perfect, so much better. thanks.
