Sup guys, I will be taking out the engine block this weekend, and I called around all the auto garage around my town, and NONE of them will do the rebuild.
My situation is this, I took of the engine, removed the head, just the block needs to rebuild. By doing all those, they save me alot of $$$ right??
So I called them, and they all said, I should instead go to a machine shop. Is that how it is???
ALso, when I go to the machine shop, and I ask them for a resurface my crankshaft, and rod... and new bearing, and some new ring...etc... How much should that go??? I want tokonw the estimates so I won't get rip off.
Also, will the machine ship put the block back to one piece for me? THanks guys.
I appreciated all the help from you guys.
